MUSIC FROM THE INTERNAL ZONE

INNER ZN85
THE INTERNAL ZONE
ZN85 occupies the territory between established tempos and established forms.

Moving through the 160–170 BPM range, the project draws on half-time, drumstep, wonky and leftfield bass music, with traces of grime, drill and neuro pressure entering the architecture.
The emphasis is not genre collision for its own sake. Rhythm is reduced, displaced and rebuilt around weight, space and forward motion.
This is urban music in the literal sense: concrete, steel, glass, transport, rain, traffic and the city after dark translated into rhythm and low frequency.
London is not the backdrop.
It is part of the signal.

SAME ROADS.
DIFFERENT MINDS.
INNER ZN85 looks at the city from inside.
Night buses. Estates. Underpasses. Empty car parks. Wet roads. Sodium light. Traffic moving through concrete corridors. Familiar structures become different places after dark.
The music follows the same logic.

Pressure does not require constant velocity. Space can carry as much weight as impact.
A rhythm can imply one tempo while moving inside another.
Between 160 and 170 BPM, those ambiguities become the territory rather than the exception.
No fixed lane.
No prescribed route.

LOWER LEVELS.
HIGHER FREQUENCIES.
