Dark Triad is the first full-length transmission from Groovedesign Psychedelic Orchestra.
Across seven extended compositions, drum & bass and jungle provide the propulsion while psychedelic detail, darker atmospheres and long-form development push the music beyond conventional dancefloor structures.
Rather than treating intensity as a succession of peaks, Dark Triad allows pressure to accumulate. Rhythms mutate, atmospheres expand and contract, and ideas are given time to develop across compositions built for immersion as much as physical impact.
The album moves between different manifestations of that language without reducing them to a single formula. Jah Dub Luv introduces dub-inflected territory into the sequence; Geosmin, Lies and Deception and Feels Like Nine occupy their own positions within its darker architecture, while the title track establishes the record's central psychological atmosphere.
Seven individual pieces form one sustained body of work.

Groovedesign Music presents Dark Triad, the first full-length release from Groovedesign Psychedelic Orchestra.
Across seven extended compositions, Dark Triad explores drum & bass and jungle as vehicles for something broader: sustained rhythmic pressure, psychedelic transformation and long-form electronic composition.
The album resists the compression of ideas into short, immediately resolved structures. Its tracks are allowed to develop over time, building and releasing tension through repetition, mutation, atmosphere and movement. Intensity is not treated simply as volume or speed, but as something that can accumulate gradually and alter perception as a composition unfolds.
The title Dark Triad establishes the psychological character of the record. From there, the album moves through Jah Dub Luv, Idola Tribus, Dancing with the Devil, Geosmin, Lies and Deception and Feels Like Nine, each occupying a different position within the same wider architecture.
There are changes of emphasis throughout. Dub-informed space enters the equation; rhythmic structures become more direct or more fractured; darker passages give way to moments of movement and expansion. What remains constant is the commitment to extended form and the physical propulsion of drum & bass and jungle.
The result is an album conceived not as a collection of isolated tracks but as a sustained encounter.
Dark Triad also establishes the territory of Psychedelic Orchestra within Groovedesign Music: high-pressure rhythmic music in which the dancefloor remains present, but is never the limit of the composition.
